Last weekend someone hurt me with their words, they are insensative, have no tact and ive decided that isnt the kind of person i want in my day to day life, because i couldnt relax or enjoy myself, the kind of person who obviously doesnt know me well and cried like a baby when i got home!
BUT on the funny side of life!!! ...........last week i took drastic action on top of the drastic action i have alredy chosen to take, (to lose weight), I decided to walk to work!!! yes an hour each way!! so here i am walking to work and home, feeling good about myself and for the first time in many months not suffering from insomnia, by 8.30pm i'm trying to will up the energy to climb the stairs to bed! I was doing very well by thursday! although my legs were aching quite a bit!!! but come friday....I walked into work VERY slowly due to how sore my feet were... and the blisters were everywhere!! i got into work and plonked myself down at the desk unable to move! As for walking home, I had to have a lift, my shoes had cut into the back of my ankles and i'd bled all inside my new trainers!! i got in and mum just laughed at the state of me! So this weekend ive been resting my feet!! (and after buying my bible last weekend, i felt like Mary Jones and her bible with all that walking!!)
Thursday night in bed, i was dropping off to sleep and got too hot, so i tried with very little movement to take my socks off- now baring in mind my bedroom at mums is in the attic, which does get very warm in the summer, the windows were wide open, my bed up against the window and i was still too hot! I pulled one sock off and then the other, but as I was pulling the sock over my toes, I accidently let go and the sock flicked like an elastic band up and out of the bedroom window! There was no way I was going to walk down 3 flights of stairs and back to rescue a sock! but i did see it laying on the floor by the front door on my way to work friday morning!
I was a little bored saturday morning waiting for R to finish work, and it was boiling outside, and the dog was panting away, I decided it was a good idea to shave her fur off, i started off pretty well, and Tammy was very patient, good job too as it took nealy 2 hours (spaniel with a very thick coat!) I got tired as it was taking so long, so I took the protective end off to get to more fur....i ended up giving her several bald patches! which mum said looked like a flea allergy! poor tams! but she does look much cooler!!
we had a BBQ yesterday once the dog fur had been cleared, and R was home from work, we had a load of chicken to eat and we were really looking forward to it, to make sure the BBQ was ready, we cooked a burger each and a sausage each and a few for the dog....and we were too full for the chicken!!!! so mum, K and the kids came up and cleared our chicken! I did manage to squeeze one in ![]()
Were off for a picnic soon, R has just popped to tesco for some goodies, and ive got some things in the oven, cooking to take with us. a picnic for tams.
enjoy ur picnic xx
